EDLIS AND PEED WIN BILLIARDS TOURNEY
The Villages monthly Mixed 8-Ball Tournament was held on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004
at The Hustler Billiard Room at La Hacienda Center. Thirty six men and
women signed up to play 7 rounds of 8-ball pool and after a blind draw for
partners, Steve Edlis and Anne Peed won first place by defeating Ray Neeley and
Sherry Alexander in the first round of playoffs; and then won by default against
Ed Kodatt and Marty Groleau. The fight for 4th place found Brian Robinson
and Pat Pfeiffer pitted against Gary Rowe and Ginny O'Brien. Brian and Pat
won that match and finished 4th. After all the playoffs, the prize money was
paid out to four places:
1st Place: Steve Edlis and Anne Peed
2nd Place: Ed Kodatt and Marty Groleau
3rd Place: Ray Neeley and Sherry Alexander
4th Place: Brian Robinson and Pat Pfeiffer
March's tournament will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2004, and
