Manage Referral ID's
Setting up your Referral ID's for all the Traffic Exchanges, Safelists, Banner Exchanges and Link Exchanges can take a few hours, but is a very important step to ensure you get the best out of Profit Rally. Many people seem to ignore this step because it is so time consuming initially. But once you have gone through it, you're all set to earn a never-ending stream of free traffic from your referrals!
By filling in all the boxes with your referral id's from the exchanges you'll earn free traffic to your sites from the work of your referrals. Just think what this could amount to over time. For example Deep Sea Hits will give you 20 credits for each referral, plus 10% of the traffic your referrals create, plus 10% of second level traffic and 5% on your third level.
With 30+ Traffic Exchanges you could be loosing a lot of traffic by not setting this area up. Before you start to input your ID's you might want to cut and paste your URL Rotator link into a NotePad document for easy access so you can put it into the exchanges while you progress through this section. You can find your Rotator URL by clicking on the 'Codes / Promote' Menu item on the left of the screen, and looks like :

To begin setiing up your Referral ID's click on the 'Traffic Exchanges' menu item on the left.
You should then see this screen.
Each traffic exchange is listed in it's own box with details about the Traffix Exchange, a link to join the Exchange, a place to insert your program ID and box to set the traffic exchanges priority in Profit Rally's Surf Console.
If you are a member of the exchange simply locate your id to the exchange and enter it into the box provided. If you are not sure what to enter, log into your account for the Traffic Exchange and look for the URL that resembles the one shown.
In the case of CashClicking shown above the URL you'll be looking for is

and enter whatever comes after the ' = ' in the box provided in Profit Rally.
If you are not a member of a particular Exchange, simply click the 'Join this Program now!' Link, and you'll sign up underneath your sponsor in Profit Rally. You can then enter your ID they send you into the box. By entering your ID's here it means that your Profit Rally referrals will sign up under you in the exchanges when they fill in this page.
If the exchange is one you like, or have an upgraded status in, you may wany to set it's Priority to yes. This will place it in a seperate box at the top of Profit Rally's Surf Console. The Surf Console allows you to easily access your traffic exchanges at a click of a button, and also shows you the time and date you last visited the exchange. As you enter each ID it is a good idea to log into the Traffic Exchange account, if not already logged in, and put your Rotator URL into the Exchange if they allow rotators, this info is shown just below the Traffic Exchange name. This will save you time later.
Once you have entered 2 or 3 ID's it's a good idea to scroll to the bottom of the page and click the 'Update my referral IDs for all programs' button. This will prevent the page from timing out before you finish, and having to start over.
Once you have entered all your ID's for all the exchanges remember to click 'Update my referral IDs for all programs'. You can now move on to the SafeLists.
Entering Safe List ID's is done in exactly the same way as for the Traffic Exchanges.
If you are already a member of a particular safelist enter your id in the box provided. If you're not currently a member then use the 'Signup' link to join under your sponsor. Safelists may not bring you in extra traffic just for signing up new members, but if your referrals upgrade they can produce a little extra income, and are a useful promotion tool.
Remember to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click 'Update my codes' button every 2 or 3 ID's you enter, to prevent the page from timing out on you.
Once you have completed all the Safelist ID's you can move on to the Banner Exchanges. You'll be pleased to know there are only 2 of these.
Setting up the banner exchanges is done in basically the same way as the traffic exchanges and Safelists but instead of just typing your ID into the text box you need to cut and paste the HTML they give your for the banner. You will also need to upload a banner of your choice to their system to be displayed across the network.
First is the Vesper Banner Exchange.
If you are not a member of the Vesper Banner Exchange you'll need to click on the Vesper Exchange text just below the banner to create an account.
Log into your Vesper account and locate the HTML code. If you don't know where to find it, when you log in you'll see a blue bar about a third of the way down the page.
Click on the 'HTML Code' link on the blue bar. You'll then see the code you need in a text box.
Cut and paste this HTML into your Profit Rally Page.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click 'Update my codes'
While you are logged into the Vesper Banner Exchange click the 'Back to Main' button below the html you just copied. and then click on 'Your Current Banners' on the blue bar.
You should then see 2 buttons 'Upload Banner' and 'View Stats'. Click on 'Upload Banner'
You should then see a screen like this.
Now you need a banner url for Profit Rally. If you haven't got one handy click the 'Codes/Promote' link on the Profit Rally Menu and then on the 'Banners' link. Copy the url for the full size banner you want to use and paste it into the Vesper account in option 2. Then click the 'Get My Banner' button.
If everything is correct you should see a Banner Successfully Uploaded message. Click on the 'Back to Banners' button. and you should then see your banner under the heading 'Current Banners using:'.
Just below the banner you should see a url, if there is no url there or it is the wrong url click the 'Edit' button next to it and alter the url to the correct one.
If everything is ok,You can now log out of the Vesper Banner Exchange.
Next we'll work on BannersGoMLM, so log into your BannersGoMLM account. If you are not a member click the BannersGoMLM text below the banner to create an account.
Once logged into your BannersGoMLM account click on the 'Get BannersGoMLM HTML Code' link
and copy the html code it displays into your Profit Rally BannersGoMLM text box, just as you did for Vesper.
Remember to click the 'Update my codes' button to save your changes.
Once again you'll need to copy a banner URL into your BannersGoMLM account. But this time you'll need to copy one of the half size banners, either

You will need to save the one you want to use to your hard drive. To do that go to the 'Codes/Promote' menu item in Profit Rally, and then click the 'Banners' link. Right click on one of the small banners and select 'Save Picture As' to save it to your hard drive. Make sure you make a note of where you saved it to.
You will also need a destination URL so copy one of your referral urls. Now return to your BannersGoMLM page and click the back button in your browser to return to the BannersGoMLM main menu and then click on the 'Add/Modify your Banner(s)' option.
Now paste your referral url into the text box next to where it says 'URL:'. Once you have done that click the browse button at the end of the text box where it says 'Image:' and locate the banner you saved. Once you have both boxes filled in click the 'Add Banner' button.
If all went well you'll get a message saying your Banner was added, and a button saying 'Banners page'. Click this button and you'll return to the banners page and your banner will be displayed below the text boxes.
Click on your banner to ensure that it opens the correct page. If it does you can now log out of BannersGoMLM, if it doesn't click on the 'Modify' Button and correct the link.
If you own a website you'll need to copy this exact same code somewhere on your pages to display the banners. You'll then earn credits every time the banner is displayed on your site, and for each credit you earn your banner will be displayed on someone elses site. This is pretty much the same way as traffic exchanges work.
Next click the 'Link Exchanges' Menu item on the left.
There are 3 Link exchanges to signup to. Traffic Swarm involves cutting and pasting HTML code the same as the previous items, while Ultimate Traffic System and Adsplit just require you to enter your program ID.
Once you have entered your ID's click the 'Update my Codes' at the bottom of the screen.
