Welcome to Emma's on-line.

Emma's became a coffee shop in 1994, the idea of Wendy Brodbelt, a Wirral lady who started the conversion of two ramshackled shops in Lower Heswall. It was sold in September 1996 to Elaine Darlington who continued and improved the range of home cooked food on offer. Emma's benefits from being sited between the local greengrocers and butchers which provides a never-ending supply of quality fresh ingredients.

Emma's is situated in the pretty village of Lower Heswall, close to the banks of the River Dee. It's a great place for meeting friends, a stopping-off point during a pleasant walk, or just popping in for coffee. It is staffed by a friendly mix of people, all just a little nutty, but our main purpose is to provide you with delicious food in a cosy atmosphere.

Elaine - the big boss

Denise - blonde, bubbly and barmy

Eve - the voice of reason

Moira - versatile - bakes and brushes

Betty - everyone's favourite

The staff lists also contains some of the most attractive Saturday-staff on The Wirral: Amy, Hannah and Natalie

Most of the cooking is done by Elaine Darlington and her trusty side-kick Kristy who, between them develop nearly all the recipes themselves, making the food on offer unique to Emma's. Moira Elliott, Elsie Digman and Elaine's mother, Mary Edwards, help in achieving a continuous supply of delicious homemade cakes.

In addition to a daily changing menu of home cooked food, Emma's also offers:

    Outside Catering

    Individual Dishes Cooked to Order
