From the Branch President
Greetings Shipmates,
I hope all had a very Happy Thanksgiving, and I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy and safe New Year. Don’t forget the Christmas dance on the 10th of December. The band will be Touch of Blue.
To the Ladies of Unit 210; on behalf of the Pensacola Submarine Veterans thank you so much for your help in collecting the cardboard centers from toilet paper and paper towels.
On Saturday 5 November food was provided for the LSU Alabama game. Special thanks to F.A. Smith and all those who brought in dishes. A good time was had by all.
E3 Fred Guy and PO2 Alex Brinkerhoff from the Sea Cadets NAS Whiting Field Division set two bricks in the walk at Veterans Park during the Veterans Day ceremony in honor of Len Keller Medal of Honor recipient. After the ceremony we had a pot luck dinner at the home. Thank you to all who provided food for the dinner.
We had a very good year this year, with a Fishing Tournament, Fish fries, the Sea Cadets participation in the Flag Retirement Ceremony and their annual Yard Sale. To Tony Chandler, Ed Wasson and the Sea Cadets thank you for your help and support.
If you have any suggestions on how to improve the Home and functions please write them up and drop in the suggestion box under the sign in book near the door. They do not have to be signed. Suggestions on menus, functions, etc will be greatly appreciated.
I remain in Loyalty, Protection and Service
Ron Williams, President
