I was born in Great Falls, Montana in 1947. During my childhood and school years my family moved yearly as my father was reassigned from place to place. The only times we stayed in a place longer than a year were from 1953 to 1955 when we went to Germany and again in the 1960s when my father was stationed at Travis Air Force base in California.

In 1966 I joined the army and was sent to Korea for my first overseas tour. In July of 1967 I married my high school sweetheart Marie. In 1988 our only child Nathan was born. I retired from the army in 1990, completed my college, and began teaching Humanities in January of 1996. In the fall of 1996 I taught both Humanities and Science Technology. I taught this combination for three years and then switched to just Humanities.

I am currently certified to teach k-8 elementary composite, K-8 science, and 4-8 Reading English Social Studies composite for GT.

I have several hobbies which include Amatuer Radio, sewing, wood working, radio control modeling, photogaphy, computers and reading.

About your teacher Mr. Conlon

My Ham radio station has several generations of equipment. The radio on the left lower shelf and all of the radios on the upper shelves are antiques that I either built or restored. The equipment on the bottom shelf and on the besk is all modern equipment.
