A letter to the families

of our fallen Heroes from Oregon~~

Please accept our deepest condolences and highest respect.  We are proud to be a part of this small gesture to honor your loved one.  

Volunteer quilters from all corners of Oregon make up the Oregon Chapter of The Home of the Brave Quilt Project.  This is a grassroots, heartfelt movement to show our compassion to you, the families of our brave warriors.  We are working hard to make this special quilt for the parents of each of our Oregon Marines or Soldiers killed in the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The quilts are being made chronologically by date of death. If you are, or know, an immediate family member of one of our fallen Oregon heroes,  we ask that you please get in touch with us as it will make our task a lot easier to get the quilts to the families once their quilt is finished.

Making this historic, loving tribute to your loved one is our honor as Oregonians.
