Portage County Lodge #70 - Fraternal Order of Police & the Glenn Kruger F.O.P.A. #9 are currently located in Ravenna Township 2-miles south of the County Seat, Ravenna, Ohio.  Our lodge was chartered on December 17, 1941 with eleven (11) original members:

In addition, the FOPA gained seventeen members from Ravenna and sixteen members from Kent beginning 19 MAR 1942 through 31 DEC 1942.  All the original 1942 Lodge members from the installation of Portage County Lodge #70, Fraternal Order of Police, have passed on.  Our Lodge consists of Law Enforcement Agency's with members that work in Portage County, or reside in Portage County and are employed by Law Enforcement from another county.  Our lodge members meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month for business meeting and socialization.
