This, in turn, helps you and your friends as the network becomes more

educational and career opportunities. Please do not underestimate what
you can do for the network. Anyone can be an active access point in our network without even making any major commitments. You can also join our English
Learners' Group if you want to improve your English language skills. It
is absolutely free to join our groups. Please look for a
group that you'd like to join here.
Make
a
donation
If you're in Yangon, Myanmar, please
contact our network coordinator in Yangon to make a gift to us. If you
are elsewhere, you can contact our International Operations Team to
send in
your donations in a check or a money order. If you would like to donate
books or computers, let us know as well. However, we regret that we do
not have the non-profit status in the US yet, and this gift is not
tax-deductible
at this time. For questions regarding what you can
donate and how, please email us at sanchaung2@yahoo.com.
Volunteer
with us
So, you have registered
with us and join our groups, but you want to
be more actively involved. Should you seek for a serious commitment to devote your time and
energy, please look for our volunteer
opportunities that would work with your schedule. If you can't find
anything there that you like, please write to us with your kowledge,
skills, and abilities, and how you would like to help us. We might be
able to create something intersting for you.
Visit S2
Do you want to visit your old high
school? Yet you fear that you wouldn't find anyone you know there or
that you would be an unwelcome visitor there. Do not worry! We
encourage you to visit the school for two main reasons.
Reason # 1: Our teachers do get
VERY excited when an old student visits them whether they know her or
not. (They may not show this often, but it's ok. You know now that they
do.) If you want to see some extra excitement, take some goodies along
with you. This does not need to be expensive. Buy some laphet-thoat
(preserved tea-leaves salad) or se-gyet noodles (minced duck/chicken on
garlic noodles) or some fruits for the teachers on your way there. They
will appreciate it. If you feel weird about walking into the teachers'
office with 10 packets of fried rice and don't know what to do next,
just write to us. We'll give you a list of things-to-do-at-school to
cover up that weird feeling.
Reason #2: It will remind you of
the good old times you had as a young schoolgirl (and perhaps the bad
times, too). Trust us, it's worth it! And please tell us everything
when you get a hold of your email. We crave for your stories at school.
We want to preserve your memories to honor your teachers and friends.
