The ScaleMaster Guarantee
We Guarantee that your ScaleMaster Model Aircraft Control Line Operating System will work for you as it is advertised with all of the features that are specified. ScaleMaster Will replace any part found to be defective, due to factory or manufacturing flaw, providing that the following conditions are meet by the operator:
1. Instructions for
installation and operation, are done according to the included
Operating Manual, and
are followed as stated in the instructions.
2. That the operator
uses the brand(s) of servos that are specified in the manuals
instructions and/or are those
commonly used for model aircraft operation. The
ScaleMaster has NOT BEEN
tested with any of the Off Brand Servos, such as
those used for Robotics
Science projects.
3. That all electrical
connections are according to the Manual specifications.
Servos must be wired
according to the operations manual and as stated on the
ScaleMaster Web site.
4. That no modification to
the PCB circuit is made by the operator and/or
end user.
5. That all of the parts
are returned for verification of the failure specified.
The handle must be returned
along with servos used (if electronic failure), and a
full description of the
malfunction must be included with the return.
6. Product Liability for
Servos that are found to be defective shall be that of the
servo manufacturer.
7. Control Line
and Line Connectors shall be the Liability of the manufacturer of
those products. Keep in
mind that the "fishing line" being used as control line
cable, is not designed
for this purpose. Connectors made by companies
outside of the model aircraft
and/or hobby industry may not assume product
liability for using their
product for another purpose, other than the one for
which it was intended.
It is the builder/pilot's responsibility to select the
proper connectors and pound
test line for the model to be flown and that the
lines be "made
up" according to the guidelines specified in the rules of the
Academy of Model Aeronautics
or other governing organization.
8. ScaleMaster
DOES NOT assume any Liability for Products that are not included
with the ScaleMaster Control
Line Operating System.
9. ScaleMaster
DOES NOT assume any Liability for Pilot Error that may result
in
the crash and/or destruction
of their model aircraft.
ScaleMaster recommends that the builder/pilot become familiar with the operational controls of the Handle by making several practice flights using one option at a time, to become acquainted with the controls and their operational function and flight characteristics. ScaleMaster, also, recommends that the pilot acquire model flying time using a training aircraft with stable flight characteristics under the guidance of an experienced instructor or senior pilot.
All Handles are delivered from the factory with all of the channels Pre-Set in standard configuration. ScaleMaster will not be responsible for the operator re-programming the unit, for other functions that are not specified in the operators instructions.
