The Academy's program is based on the syllabus provided by the Royal Academy of Dance in London. The RAD is an international teaching organization committed to establishing standards of excellence in ballet instruction. The Santa Clarita Ballet Academy uses this syllabus as a basis to ensure correct training and to inspire each student’s creativity, musicality and dramatic expression.  Examinations are administered annually by an official representative of  the RAD.  These examinations are optional, and we encourage all serious students to participate in this opportunity.

Each student is taught and progresses according to his or her own ability.  The Santa Clarita Ballet Academy is committed to meeting the needs of all students.   Students who are seeking an outlet through dance to enhance grace, coordination and posture; and those who are studying seriously for possible future dance careers receive equal attention and guidance.  In either case, it is my philosophy that all students must be encouraged to enjoy the spirit of dance, which should be freely felt through movement and self expression.
