About the STABL:
The Southern Tier Adult Baseball League (STABL) is a member of the nation-wide Men's Adult Baseball League. The STABL was formed in 1993 by Ed Truxal under the name NABA Broome County League. The first tryout was held in April 1993 at Susquehanna Valley High School, with over 100 players trying out. Five teams were formed that first year, with the Broome County A's winning the first league championship. Currently the Southern Tier Adult Baseball League has ten teams and over 150 members playing a 22-game schedule.
