Misc. Information
Directions to fields:
To River Park: 81 South to Exit 1. Make a right off the exit. Go over a bridge and make the first left after the bridge (if you get to a stop light, you've gone too far). You'll come to a T in the road and make a left onto Main Street. The entrance to the park is about a quarter mile on your left.
To Valley Field: 81 South to Exit 2. Go straight off the exit and you'll see the field on your left.
To Arnold Park: 434 West, make a left on African Road (across from Old Navy). Continue straight up African, Arnold Park is on your left.
To Sayre Field (Riverfront Park): 17 West, take exit 61. Make a right off the exit, and a left on Lehigh Street (a good landmark is Original Italian Grille). Follow Lehigh into town. Make a right at the Y in the road, and make a left at the stop sign to go over the bridge. Stay to your right, and the field is on the left.
To Afton High School: 88 East, take the Afton exit. Go straight off 88 over the river, under a rail road bridge, to a stop sign. Continue straight through the intersection. Cross a small bridge. There's a town garage on the left, turn left take that road to field.
To Owego Free Academy: 17 West to exit 64. Go over the bridge and make a right on NY-38. Turn left on George Street, and right on Sheldon Guile Boulevard.
To Harpursville High School: 88 East to exit 6. Make a right off the exit, and follow that road to a 4-way intersection (there is a corner store on your left). Make the very sharp left onto Main Street, and the school will be less than 1/4 mile on your right.
to Glenwood Field: Go to 4 corners in vestal, near Hollywood Video. Turn left if coming from Town Square Mall, or right if coming from Owego. That is Main Street. Go on that for about 2 to 3 minutes. You will see a Giant on your left and then a small bridge. After the bridge there is a fork in the road - take the right side. That is Glenwood Road. Take your 2nd right (Jones Road) and go up 200 yards or so and you will see the driveway to the school on your left. The field is down the hill.
to Blue Ridge: Follow 81 South to exit 223 New Milford. Come off the exit ramp and turn left down the hill. Follow it to the bottom of the hill (less then a 1/4 mile) and the ball field is on your right. Approximate driving time from Bing is 20 to 30 min. Visitors will be in the first base side dugout.
