Owego Tribe
About the Owego Tribe: The Owego Tribe was a new team to the STABL in 2006. However, the team's roots can be traced back to 1999, when STABL legend Jon Divers founded the Divers Wall Guys, a team based in Owego. The Wall Guys were a force in the league, winning the regular season championship in 2000 and 2003, and the STABL Championship in 2002. The team folded in 2004 but was resurrected as the Candor Coyotes by former Wall Guys catcher Chris Teribury. Jesse Brady took the team over in 2005, but again the franchise folded. Craig Howe founded the Owego Tribe for 2006 and took the team all the way to the STABL championship game. With Liam Miller now at the helm, the team looks to carry on the franchise's tradition of winning baseball in 2007.
