Jeff Gordon was born August 4, 1971 in Vallejo, Calif. Jeff drives the Dupont Automotive Finishes-sponsored Chevrolet Monte Carlo owned by Rick Hendrick.
Jeff started his NASCAR Winston Cup career in 1993 with rookie of the year honors. Jeff is a four-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion (1995, 1997, 1998, 2001). He has had 82 Career NASCAR victories. He is 6th on the all time win list. He has had 68 Career Poles and is fourth on all-time pole award winner's list. He is a three-time Daytona 500 winner (1997, 1999, 2005). A four-time Brickyard 400 winner (1994, 1998, 2001, 2004). A five-time Southern 500 winner (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2002). He holds a record nine road course victories.
As we are into the 2010 season, Jeff returns in the No. 24 "Firestorm" DuPont Chevrolet, he has his sights set on racking up more victories and accomplishing a fifth championship.
