Instuments of Use
by Michelle Stace

“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,
Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?
Then said I, Here am I; send me.”  Isa. 6:8

O Lord, let me be a lamp that shines Your Light,
So those in utter darkness may be given saving sight.

Let me be a glove that’s fitted for Your hand;
To serve You and obey Your every command.

Let me be a vessel full of Your grace,
To pour out and share in each and every place.

Let me be a pen that proclaims Your word,
For those in need of the truth You’ve preserved.

Let me be salt full of Your savour,
That others may taste of Your everlasting flavor.

Let me be a laborer planting Your seeds,
 Your word is not void, for You give the increase.

Let me be a temple in which You will dwell,
Sanctified and holy, fitted for You well.
