On October 2nd 2002, the FCC set aside 3873 and 7285 as emergency frequencies to be used for traffic regarding Hurricane Lili.  The FCC has ask for a guardband of + and - 3 kHz.  This means no traffic on 3870 to 3876  and 7822 to 7828.  Also please use the proper sideband for the band you are operating on.

No matter if an emergency frequency is declared or allocated by the FCC or a local agency,  please give the air space to any and all emergency traffic.
Thanks for your cooperation
